Funeral Service for Una Mae Russell, age 79 years, of Tuckaway Road, formerly of Alice Town, Bimini, will be held on Saturday January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Methodist Church, East Shirley Street. Officiating will be Rev. Milton Lightbourne assisted by Rev. Godfrey Bethell. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Church’s Cemetery, East Shirley Street.
Una is predeceased by her husband: George Russell; her parents: Fredrick and Sarah Weech; her Siblings: Realand Sewell, Douglas Weech, Jean Higgs and Sherry Weech.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter: Sarahann Lowe; son-in-law: Anthony Lowe; grandchildren: Erika and Brandon Lowe; sisters: Elaine Sweeting, Agatha Howard, Eleanor Spindler, Jessie Underwood and Barbara Checkly; brothers: Fredrick and Hank Weech; brothers-in-law: David Higgs, Allison Underwood, Alfred Sweeting and Michael Checkly; sisters-in law: Mavis and Elsie Weech; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a lifetime of dear friends.
The family would especially like to thank: Dr. Clyde Munnings for all the love and for his constant advice and unending care that he gave during Mom’s illness. The family would also like to extend gratitude to Dr. Patrick Cargill for his love and care he gave to Mom. Thanks to the staff of Doctors Hospital for all the many visits and care that was given during Mom’s stay. The family will never forget the love and support Mom received these last four years from her caregivers: Joanna Coleby, Kolette Jones, Elizabeth Hanna and Kayelica Armbrister.

Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets, on Friday January 19, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday January 20, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
